In an exclusive interview with The Paladin on Sept. 23, President Davis refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power, saying “We’re going to have to see what happens.”

Although Davis has previously joked that she might refuse to relinquish power if asked to step down as Furman’s president, on this occasion she made her position clear, casting doubt on to any would-be critics and claiming that her authority “knows no bounds.”

In sum, it seems that President Davis and her team are ready for anything. As they tighten their grip on power, students will have a simple choice: submission or annihilation.
